I purchased these hip boots because I was wanting something light weight for those early season hunts, and for the mild winter we get here in Louisiana. While I definitely should have sized down in the boots, I still liked these hip boots because they were light weight and the belt strap kept them up high to keep water from splashing into the boots. They were comfortable, super light, and easy to clean. I was really liking these and wore them most of the year, however, on the second to last weekend, I was getting out of the blind when the fabric of the boot caught the edge of the flip panel and it ripped the fabric open and caused a leak. I guess this could have been avoided by being a little more cautious, but I have hit my legs on the panels countless times over the years with my other hip boots and never had an issue, so I guess I just never thought about it as a potential issue.

I really liked these boots and have considered buying another pair, but I just do not think they would last any longer than these did with where we hunt.

I would still recommend these to anyone hunting in some of the warmer conditions or mild winters because of how comfortable they were. You just need to be cautious and know these have the potential to rip if caught on anything with an edge.

Havent tried them out yet but they are lightweight and seem to be extreme quality!!
